One more Arafat-related post

I know, I know. This will be the last post on Yasser’s health for a while. From Cox and Forkum:

It’s 12:45 AM. I have a Human Sexuality exam tomorrow morning.
I’m trying to study, but I made the mistake of leaving the TV on CNN, which is currently giving what would otherwise be perfectly good air time to that insepid little shit Christiane Amanpour, who is using it to sing Arafat’s praises on international TV.
She [...]

Rats

Oh, well. I suppose it was too good to be true.

RAMALLAH, West Bank (CNN) — Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is suffering from a blood platelet deficiency and is being moved to Paris for additional tests to determine its cause, one of his doctors said Thursday.

I’m confused as to how a man who has spilt so [...]

….but in this case, I’ll make an exception.
</sensitivity>
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is in critical condition. Israeli radio is now reporting that he has been taken from his lair compound to a hospital. Fox News is reporting that he is “very, very sick.”

This is the culture you’re defending.

Pat Robertson

As someone who is perpetually disgusted with Republican pandering to the religious right, it was extremely humorous to hear Pat Robertson tell Paula Zahn that God had told him there would be many casualties in Iraq, and that George W. Bush refused to listen.

I had deep misgivings about this war, deep misgivings. And I was [...]

Yes, I’ve been gone for a few days. Life has actually taken over, and I’m busy. I’ve also had to take a step back from the political scene – the whole thing has started to raise my blood pressure to an unhealthy level.
In other Missing-Blogger news, does anyone know where Allah is?
What brings me back [...]

Military Times poll results

A recent Military Times poll reveals what most well-informed individuals already knew: George W. Bush enjoys an overwhelming amount of support from America’s military.
In summary, the latest data puts over 75% of the military vote in Bush’s camp. About 17% were pulling for Kerry.
Now, can we please knock off the bullshit about U.S. troops fighting [...]
