In an unrelated note, my feelings toward comment/trackback spam are quite similar to Dave Barry’s feelings about popup ads:

Can anybody recommend a good popup-ad-killing program? Ideally it would (a) detect every popup ad and suppress it before it appeared, while simultaneously (b) ramming a hot poker deep into the right ear of the person responsible for the ad. But I’ll settle for just the suppression.

I find it highly ironic that this particular post on Barry’s weblog has been spammed.

Anyway, I’ve recently added MT-SCODE by James Seng to my personal collection of installed anti-spam tools. If it works, he will be my personal hero.
