A while back, I picked up an equality sticker. You know… one of these things:
…and almost stuck it on my car. I actually thought it would be an amusing contrast to the Bush/Cheney ‘04 sticker already on my back window.
But then I began to think about the context of the symbol and its larger implications. [...]

Just the Facts: Terri Schiavo and Cortical Damage
0 Comments Published by Sean March 25th, 2005 in UncategorizedThis is the first in what will probably be a never-ending series of “Just the Facts.” It comes down to this: I’m sick of dogma on both the left and the right. The idiotic ramblings and absurd demands from archconservative religious types regarding Terri Schiavo have pushed me over the edge.
Here’s a tip, folks: If [...]
Neal Boortz responds to a question posed yesterday by The Grand Overlord of Alternative Media: “Why do you want Terri Schiavo to die?”
I want Terri Schiavo to die because I believe she’s earned it.
I don’t view death as the end of the journey of a human soul. I view it as a transition. [...]

Check back soon for a new podcast… just as soon [...]

If this causes problems for anyone posting a legitimate comment or sending a legitimate ping, e-mail me and I’ll consider other options.
…or at least, that’s what the folks over at Politopia would call me. According to them, I live in the northwest:
My profile:
NEO, a stereotypical Northwesterner
“Freedom to do whatever you’d like, as long as you don’t interfere with the equal freedom of others.”
My name is Neo, and I’m a software designer on the NW coast. I [...]
…the protest in Lebanon yesterday was larger than any anti-war protest in American history. Possibly the history of the world.
(of course, I could be wrong on this – if I am, please let me know)
Under no circumstances – and by that I mean there had better be a life-or-limb emergency… preferably one involving seventeen 50-foot tall giraffes and a hoard of locusts – should you miss Andrew Sullivan’s excellent piece on why John Bolton is the perfect choice for U.N. Ambassador.
A sample:
Bolton’s real sin is to see the UN [...]
