Don’t be a squirrel

Defend your nuts.
Check out our group blog for more information. We’ve already got some great bloggers lined up, and we’re looking for new recruits if anyone is interested (if you are, let me know via. comments or e-mail).
The game is afoot!

A Joke

The French philosopher Rene Descartes walks into a bar, sits down, and orders a whiskey sour. After a while, the bartender asks if he would like another.
Descartes replies: “I think not.”
…and disappears.
HAHAHAHAHA! Who ever said academics have no sense of humor?
I need to get out more.

Parroting the Left

Remember when Osama bin Laden started repeating points from Michael Moore late last year? Well, the trend continues. Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar sez:
They [the Bush administration] are criminals, they left the black classes in New Orleans to be killed by a natural disaster and they did not interfere. They are real “terrorists,” it is a [...]

Zarqawi’s #2 (and I use the term “number two” very deliberately in this instance) man is tango uniform.

Mr. Galloway, debating against the war, is a highly respected Member of Parliament who recently electrified the U.S. with his appearance at the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations responding to charges related to Iraq’s oil-for-food program. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer described Galloway’s speech in the Senate as [...]

Juan Cole’s knowledge of logic is almost as lacking as his understanding of the Middle East – a fact he nakedly displays in his most recent atrocity – a failed criticism of Christopher Hitchens’ recent piece in the Weekly Standard. Examples:
The weapons inspectors were all along far more professional and far more capable than anyone [...]

…are now in this thread. Example:
Tyler: If we are a country based on “Reason, Rights and Science” then why oh why are we talking about teaching Intelligent Design in our school systems?
Travis: Because I am not in office yet.
Tyler and Travis have been having a great debate over there. Check it out!
