Multiculturalism at its Worst

It appears that the high numbers have something to do with the cultural background of the offenders. To her, however, the blame lies with Norway’s failure to conform to what is probably the most backward, widely-accepted social struture in the world today. It’s those damn secularist Norwegian females constantly setting ablaze the pantalones of every male Muslim in sight. We must change:
Two out of three charged with rape in Norway’s capital are immigrants with a non-western background according to a police study. The number of rape cases is also rising steadily. Unni Wikan, a professor of social anthropology at the University of Oslo, in 2001 said that “Norwegian women must take their share of responsibility for these rapes” because Muslim men found their manner of dress provocative. The professor’s conclusion was not that Muslim men living in the West needed to adjust to Western norms, but the exact opposite: “Norwegian women must realize that we live in a Multicultural society and adapt themselves to it.”
That’s right - if you’re a female resident of Norway, you’d better go Hijab shopping. Your rights as a human being to live among your fellow citizens unmolested are worthless to the present-day god of the left: Multiculturalism.
Watch out: It may very well be the death of us all.

This is terrible. Unfortunately it doesn’t surprise me all that much. I think Unni needs to go see a local production of ‘The Vagina Monologues’ in Oslo.
As usual, I look at this from the standpoint of practical politics. If, in this instance, multi-culturism can trump feminism (no mean feat!), I believe it opens vast areas of opportunity for not only splitting our enemies but, sweetest of all, arraying them against each other to their mutual undoing!
I’d like to see these two packs of boneheads debate subjects like female circumcision, women’s sufferage, the chador (is that right?), the glass ceiling, etc.
There’s an almost aesthetic pleasure to be gained by putting two natural enemies into the same political bed for a brief liason. The same satisfaction can be realized by taking two seemingly-natural bedmates and kicking one of them out from beneath the covers.
