I passed someone in ETSU’s Student Center Friday sporting a t-shirt which included the classic outline of Che Guevara and the title “Cli Che”. I briefly turned around and told him that I liked his shirt.

He smiled. “Heh heh… Thanks. No one ever says that.”

Of course they don’t. That’s because most people who know who Che was think he was a swell fellow.

Essentially, they’re socialist ninnies.

I include in this group the band Rage Against the Machine, which has managed to procure for itself a rather comfortable lifestyle by denouncing the very system which makes the production and distribution of its work possible - there are few things in this world as satisfying as guilty, rich Bolshies perpetually trying to justify their existence. They’re huge socialist ninnies, and they have an equally huge and massively ignorant following, which has popularized Che’s image at their behest.

Screw ‘em. I’m reviving my “No Che” campaign, which certifies my web site (and any other sites who wish to join me) as 100% Che-free.

So join me, won’t you? Mark your web site 100% Che-free and piss off a bunch of spoiled SUV-driving suburbanite kids who are hip - but about 90 years too late - to the revolution.
