1. Both my grandfathers served in the European theater in WWII. My paternal grandfather was an infantryman (he still has a bullet in him) and my maternal grandfather flew a B-17.
2. I flunked two courses my senior year of high school, and almost didn’t graduate.
3. As an adolescent, I ran a computer bulletin board system. The largest board in Brainerd, Minnesota!
4. I have terrible allergies and mild asthma.
5. I was a pastor’s intern in high school, and entered college with the intention of becoming a minister.
6. When I was a kid, I had a pirate radio station.
7. I have a sticker on my laptop: “who is John Galt?”
