Since it's "free", who in their right mind would choose a Yugo over a Lexus? That's the problem. Properly considered, a "right" is mine at no cost to my neighbor. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are, indeed, free. If someone else has to dip into his wallet to provide a "freedom", then it stands self-accused of being something other than freedom or a right. It is an obligation not freely entered-into.
