Ahmadinejad in NYC

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia University yesterday. Groups such as the National Organization of Women and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation staged large-scale protests, denouncing Iran’s deplorable human rights record with respect to women, gays and lesbians. A Bipartisan Effort

I’m a little late with this one, but it was too important to miss: Former Iran president condemns bin Laden, praises Hezbollah. Apparently, the College Democrats, College Republicans, and a number of human rights groups got together and raised an appropriate amount of hell over the whole thing. Thanks, guys!
